Our Process

From your drawings to a build-ready set.

Every project moves through the same disciplined sequence — so you always know what's next.

01

Take-off & estimate

We review your architectural set with PlanSwift, produce a material estimate with a variance report, and issue RFIs where the drawings need clarifying.

02

Drawing Revision 0

Cover sheet, general notes, key plans and elevations, sections and details — issued for your review and approval before fabrication design begins.

03

Fabrication design

Once approved, parts are detailed for fabrication — either from your confirmed shop drawings, or from a precise laser as-built field survey (up to 1/32″ accuracy, depending on site conditions and measurement requirements).

04

Work orders, BOM & glass tags

Flashing and back-pan work orders, bills of material, glass purchase orders with frit sketches and glass tags, and cut lists with live D.L.O. formulas.

05

CNC & nesting files

Optimized cutting files for CNC sheet-cutting machines, with nesting reports showing flat-material usage and leftover percentage.

06

Installation package

A coordinated job-site drawing set with matching part codes and tag elevations, ready for your crew on install day.

What we need to get started (new-build projects)

Architectural & Structural
  • Sealed, latest-issue architectural drawings with details (CAD or PDF)
  • Structural drawings, for structure-to-envelope interface review
  • Exact benchmark & datum / final architectural code
  • Gutter, rainwater riser & mechanical penetration locations
Materials & Finishes
  • Flat stock material size, thickness & color code
  • Flashing color scheme
  • Post- or pre-painted aluminum specification
  • Insulation type, back pans & consumable materials
Site & Glazing
  • Site photos of the façade under construction, where available
  • Substrate confirmation for execution detail design
  • Shadow box & back section requirements
  • Glass type & glass bite, plus metric or imperial units
